The Country Club of Petersburg is a private golf club on Johnson Road in Petersburg, designed by Donald J. Ross and opened in 1928. The 18-hole regulation length championship layout offers 4 sets of tees for the enjoyment of golfers of any skill level.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course
Dogwood Trace Golf Course, formerly known as Lee Park, is the City of Petersburg's municipal golf course. Recently the course underwent a major renovation, opening in April, 2008. The new championship course is an 18-hold par 72 layout featuring 5 par fives, 8 par fours, and 5 par threes, with four sets of tees ranging from 4,874 to 6,707 feet, incorporating water hazards, bunkers and the natural terrain. The course also features a short game area and a driving range. The newly renovated course was designed by acclaimed golf course architect Thomas E. Clark.
