The award-winning Lee Playhouse has become one of the most active performing groups in the area, offering three program styles to meet various entertainment and cultural desires. The main-stage season produces Broadway musicals, comedies and dramas. Evening and matinee performances are open to the community. Season tickets are offered at the beginning of the main-stage season guaranteeing great seating for a year of entertainment. KidKapers is Fort Lee’s version of children’s theater. Each show features live theater presentations with music to delight both young and old alike. Tickets are sold at the box office just prior to the show and are only $4. The Lee Playhouse offers special shows for Fort Lee trainees, as well as evening and matinee performances for the entire Fort Lee community and surrounding areas. Everyone from the Fort Lee community is invited to participate. No stage experience is necessary and all are welcome to audition, work back stage or help with audience management.
